Longest Bridges

philkonPhilkon on 10/02/2005

There are a variety of different types of bridges: girder, truss, arch, cable stay, rigid frame and suspension. Because of the physics involved, suspension bridges allow for the longest bridges.

This quiz looks at the 10 longest "single span" bridges as of early 2005.

I'll describe either the bridge or the location.

The picture to the left is the bridge that is the answer to question #10 (the world's longest single-span bridge).
