It is a great achievement to have reached the top of your sport. These tennis players have done that, winning Grand Slam Tournaments and other international tournaments on the way. I shall detail some of the successes of a player and you will have to identify him from among his peers. The ATP ranking system has been in place since 1973 and that's when they began noting the number of weeks that a player has held the top spot. Before 1973 rankings were given on the basis of reports by journalists and others who compiled information but was only determined at the end of a full year of play, not continuously throughout the year as it is now done with computer data. This quiz will, therefore, mention some of the best of the early players as well as those of the modern era. Enjoy!
