|Welcome to the "Famous Infamous Folks" challenge quizzes.|
(This is the third of a 'community' quiz game started by previous quizzes featuring "Ancient Treasures" and "Natural Wonders of the World").
Quiz authors who chose to take part in this game have all created quizzes with "Famous Infamous Folks" in the title. No one knew what the others would come up with, so it is a game for both authors and quiz takers. You can find them all in the special category now created, titled "Community Quizzes". You are encouraged to take all the quizzes in this group, compare them, rate them, and send comments to the authors.
What exactly is the definition of the word "infamous"? Well, it has many meanings, as it embraces several associations. Here are some descriptions connected with the word (as listed in the Collaborate International Dictionary of English): "Having a reputation of the worst kind; held in abhorrence; guilty of something that exposes to infamy; notoriously vile; detestable". (1913 Webster).
In this quiz, I have drawn together a collection of people deriving from a multitude of sources. Some are historical figures, some are murderers, and a few are even fictional. They all have one thing in common however, as they are all famous infamous folk.
Best of luck with the quiz, thank you for taking it, and I hope you enjoy your experience among the fiends, villains, and the perverse.
