This is the first of two quizzes being published during Days Between, when Deadheads observe the period of time from Jerry Garcia's birthday till the anniversary of his death (August 1-9). (Days Between is also a Dead song.) See if you can deduce the right answer from the clues given. I've provided a quote from a Grateful Dead song which makes an oblique reference to some field of medical knowledge or technology. Identify the song title and the technology to score your points. If you're a Deadhead, or if you're scientifically knowledgeable, or both, or if you're just pretty smart, I've provided enough clues so that you should be able to get most, if not all of them. I did kind of make up one of the scientific fields, but that shouldn't stop you! Good luck and have a real good time!
