Top Chef is an American reality TV show in which chefs compete against each other in culinary challenges. They are judged by a panel of notables from the food and wine industry (chefs, critics and others). One or more “cheftestants” are eliminated in each episode, and the eventual winner is crowned “Top Chef” and wins cash and prizes. The show recently finished its fifth season.

Top Chef often uses time limits, unusual ingredient choices and other restrictions to add “flavor” to the challenges. I love seeing what the chefs come up with. Often it leaves my mouth watering. Other times, it…doesn’t. This quiz is about some of those other times, taken from Top Chef 2, Top Chef 3, and Top Chef 4.

I've not seen the show, so all my answers were guesswork. It appears that some chefs really over-think their cooking!
