|A 10-year-old girl was murdered in a small town in my state of Indiana. A state known for race cars and warm summers that should be filled with swimming, camping and playing when you are in the 4th grade. The man arrested for her death was 20. He was addicted to methamphetamine and scared she would tell someone when she stumbled across a lab - probably not even knowing what it was. |
Only 30 total years of life were shared between the victim and the suspect. A suspect that never would have dreamed of doing this before this drug entered his life and who will have to face consequences that he will never be able to repair long after this same drug is gone. Two families that will never be the same have both lost a child - only in different ways.
Take thiz quiz not in fun, but as an eye opener. Watch your kids, LISTEN to your kids, do not think that "your" child would never do drugs because chances are they already have tried at least one, and never be scared to tell them about the hard facts of life because before you know it, that opportunity will be gone and someone else will do it for you.
