Mindmonkey's Favorite Books for Pompous Readers

It's summertime and that means it's time for reading all of those long, heavy books that you never get to during the rest of the year. There's lots of positive things that can come of this--wisdom, knowledge and choice metaphors--but the greatest virtue for many may be the ability to tell everybody that--yes, I read that; yes I am truly an intellectual. Honest I am! Honest! So, here are 10 questions concerning some of those great choices for summer reading. I've read a good portion of these and some really are pretty good. I've even read some of them on the beach, knowing that, if people can see the title, they will stay far, far away.
