Mean old guy but a great ball player
Wow! great quiz.. I never saw him play, of course, but my father hated him with a degree of loathing that I couldn't grasp. The 3 reasons for his hatred were he shot his father, saying later he thought it was an intruder, He always slid high into second base aiming up with his cletes to hurt the second baseman, and last but not least he hated black people and wad often observed striking slapping pullmen on the trains used in the early 20s and 30th. Thanks for bringing fond memories of my dad and I watching the greatest sport. Eileen
