"Monday's Child" Nursery Rhyme
![]() |
"Monday's Child" is one of several fortune-telling songs, popular as nursery rhymes for children. It is supposed to tell a child's character or future based on what day they were born. According to Wikipedia, some modern versions change one of the day's fortunes from "Is bonny and blithe and good and gay" to "Is bonny and blithe and good in every way" due to modern connotations about the word gay. The latter version will be used in this quiz. I will give you the day of the week. Your answer will be the "fortune" connected to that day. Good luck!

Unbelievable....if you check wikipedia, you get different answers...and if you don't specify which version of the rhyme you are referring to, this quiz is totally bogus!
