Too Much Monkee Business - The Monkees
![]() |
Hey Hey, from 1966 through early 1968, The Monkees ruled the charts like nobody's business. Six Top Tens and three Number Ones along with a highly rated TV show and sold out concerts made The Monkees bigger than any other group on God's gray earth. But all was not well behind the scenes. In-fighting among members and their producer/Svengali Don Kirshner, in an attempt to become a real band that actually played their instruments instead of just providing vocals, signaled the beginning of the end for all things Monkee. Behold the lore of Nesmith, Jones, Dolenz and Tork.

good
My grandmother and I watched the Monkees faithfully each week. Good memories.
I forget when I forgot most of this.
Thanks for the quiz!
Thanks for the quiz!
I loved your quiz, mostly because I am a Monkees FANATIC! I didn't do so well (I made a 70) but it was still great! Thanks!
