Movies Made From Stephen King's Works

Most of Stephen King's novels and some of his shorter writings have been made into movies. He has written under the pseudonym of Richard Bachman. When his identity was discovered he had a mock funeral for him and then wrote a book about it. He has written comics and both he and his creations have influenced heavy metal bands. At one time he had a rock band of his own. Certain characters have shown up in some form on TV in shows, including 'The Simpsons'. He has a diverse personality and while he is primarily considered a writer in the horror genre, he has written outside of that. He has had a battle with alcohol and drugs and admits that the "drunken father" character in The Shining was patterned after himself. I used Wikipedia and a wealth of other sources from the Internet. Most of the movies I looked up on an individual basis. Enjoy!
