Music, Please: Put on Some Bob!
![]() |
His music moved the world. I’m talking about the late, great, Bob Marley. Bob’s music not only gave voice to his native Jamaica and people of African descent through out the African Diaspora, it transcended genre and race to have everlasting and universal appeal to the peoples of the world. Bob’s music spoke to social changes. Never did he speak cruelly of women or men in his music, and if it sometimes seemed that he did, it was only for enlightenment. He wanted to bring change in music and society, and that he did! He put reggae on the map. His music was uplifting, inspirational, spiritual, and even tenderly romantic at times. You will see it in the quiz. I will give you a song title and a few lines of the song; then you’ll pick the correct line that’s a part of the song. It should be easy; most of his lyrics rhymed, so even if you’re not familiar with his music, you should be able to pick the right answer. Good luck! Thanks for taking my quiz, and please don’t forget to rate it.
