Manufacturer Championship were a real source of pride in the building of NASCAR. The saying "What Won on Sunday Sold on Monday" was very true. In those days, the cars had a lot of stock parts. It has faded in recent years, with the cars slowly eliminating all of their remaining stock parts. Now, with NASCAR's new "Car of Tomorrow", NASCAR has essentially neutered the concept of car brands and models. The bodies will all be the same with only inconsequential cosmetic changes to let the pretend to be a Chevy, Ford, whatever. This quiz is a celebration of the time when the nameplate on the race cars really meant something. This quiz reflects championships from 1949-2006.
