Neighbour Or Neighbor
![]() |
This quiz appears in the foreign language section since clearly, English is foreign to many. Your job is to pick out the odd spelling. Supposedly, Miriam Webster was anti-British and changed some spellings to match the phonetics. Each question has five words, one of which is either British or American. Your job is to pick the spelling that is NOT from the culture of the others. For example: Colour, organisaton, neighbour and harbor. Clearly the USA's harbor is the odd one since the British use harbour and all of the others. One more: Jail, Defense, Gray and Mould? It can go both ways. Put out your fag (cigarette), get on the lift (elevator) and cosy (cozy) up to this quiz without a rubber (eraser). This quiz is ambisploofus (British and 'Merican)!
