Never Write on an Empty Stomach!

geniuswaitressGeniuswaitress on 08/25/2006

NeverWriteonanEmptyStomach Photo Charles Dickens once claimed that the sandwich was one of man's greatest institutions. I'm not sure what he meant by that (The sandwich? Institution? Huh?), but what if he'd been thinking of sandwiches when he was writing? The result could have been Nicholas Pickleby instead of Nickelby.
Can you figure out which food title might have been written by which hungry author? Be careful, as only ONE title is a spoofed version of a title by the author in question. The other choices belong to other hungry writers.
