Since 1950 Nielsen has been rating U.S. television programs. At the end of every television season the show with the highest Nielsen rating gets crowned as the seasons top program. This quiz is about the programs that finished as the highest rated shows for any given year. I will give a couple of clues and you just have to guess what was the highest rated program. The years in question will range from 1956-2004, in no particular order. Sample question: Desi, Fred and Ethel loved this wacky lady. What was the number one rated program for the 1956-1957 season?
