Ogden Nash's "Line-Up for Yesterday"

|Here's a quiz about Ogden Nash's poem, "Line-Up for Yesterday: An ABC of Baseball Immortals," first published in Sport Magazine in January, 1949. In this poem, Nash extols the virtues of various famous baseball figures of his time, one for each letter of the alphabet. See if you can work out who these players are from Nash's description of them (this quiz quotes his poem extensively), and from the hints I've added in the wording of the questions to help narrow down the choices. Enjoy!|
