Opening Words; A Sploofus Guide
Garrybl on 09/07/2006
|There are some famous works of literature where the opening words are so well known that you would all immediately identify them without a problem –and where would be the fun in that? Fortunately, using an idea I think I borrowed from another Sploofus colleague, I can make your life more interesting, by the judicious use of Sploofus.|
If I offered you “We hold these sploofus to be sploofus, that all sploofus are sploofus sploofus” I’m sure it would be just a little harder than if I said:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal” from the Declaration of Independence.
So all you have to do is identify the quotes – just the book, not the author.
