Paschal's Guinness Quiz

paschalPaschal on 06/07/2010

PaschalsGuinnessQuiz Photo Hi all,
Guinness is one of our biggest exports here in the Emerald Isle and is a wonderful beverage, full of vitamins and wholesome goodness, taken of course in moderation. Its beautiful black colour when served and the look of satisfaction on most people's faces has to be seen to be believed as the barman places that creamy head on the counter to be swallowed up by the lucky pundit. As you wait for your treat, watch how the brown ripples run up from the side of the glass to settle all the way from the bottom to the top, two minutes later to a completely black colour. Here are ten questions about my favourite drink. Enjoy the quiz and after go treat yourself to that black beer. Paschal

I'm a shorttimer, having been drinking Guninness daily only since 1972 or so--all the fault of that dreary fraud James Joyce-- and I resent the fact that I never won an Irish pub in the annual contest, but still I loved the quiz. Unfortunately, American Guinness is apparently now made in Canada, and, at least to me, doesn't taste the same as Guinness made in, say, Kenya. Still, how are we to know the dancer from the dance?

What an entertaining quiz P, brilliant. I'm Irish obviously and love a tipple of Arthur;s beer

Too many figures that just aren't interesting, me ol' mukka. This only detracts from the splendour of drinking this fine black nectar.

A fun quiz - even though I did lousy But I learned a lot about Guinness - which I also love!
