A cliche is basically any phrase, sentence or expression that has been so overused it sets your teeth on edge (that’s one right there). A cliche is usually trite or commonplace, but that’s neither here nor there (another), because there’s not a ghost of a chance (and yet another) that we’ll ever see the light at the end of the tunnel (have you stopped counting yet?). This quiz will attempt to describe a cliche in plain English. Then it’s up to you to guess which cliche I’m describing. So shake a leg and let’s get cracking!
