A cliche consists of any phrase, sentence or expression that has been so overused that it’s a waste of one’s breath to even use it (see? There’s a cliche there!) It is usually trite or commonplace, but it fills the bill (another one!) for this quiz! I will attempt to describe a cliche in plain English. Then it’s up to you to guess which cliche I’m describing. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to take this quiz, so from the word go, proceed full steam ahead to the point of no return, and finish the whole nine yards!
