Pedal Effects: How Much Do You Know?
![]() |
An effects pedal (or a "Stomp Box") is an electronic effects unit used by electric guitar players to modify their guitar sound. These devices alter the sound quality or timbre of the input signal, adding effects such as distortion, reverb, fuzz and many more. Called pedals because they sit on the floor, they have large on/off switches that are activated using the foot. Pedals are intended mainly for use in live performances and allow the guitarist to activate them while playing. How much do you know about these "magical" boxes?

My husband is a guitarist and could have gotten 100% on this. I tried to see how many a musician's wife could get right. I'll settle for 50%. LOL!
