Join In: Celebrate America’s Hispanic Heritage

September 15th to October 15th is National Hispanic Heritage Month in America. It is on the anniversary of the freedom of 5 Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Mexico also announced its independence on September 16th and Chile on September 18th. Let’s not be surprised to see clout moving from the corner store on Main Street to corporate board rooms to Wall Street; and even the White House. Hispanics have surpassed African Americans as the largest USA minority. As a volunteer, often I find activities for particular celebrations for us to share, enjoy, and learn from other cultural expressions. Here are a few questions and some more from a Trivia Party of 2 years ago I did for Senior citizens.
