Okay, so the Japanese would shutter at these haikus! Beautiful they aren't -- all that can really be said is that they contain 17 syllables, in lines of 5,7,5. What they do instead of conjuring up beautiful thoughts is describe various philosophers and/or his/her works. Your job is to guess who I'm talking about. Image is of the Death of Socrates.
