Power & Control: Domestic Violence

This is not a fun quiz. I have provided Batterers Intervention Services for approximately 08 - 10 years now. I wanted to offer an opportunity to test your knowledge of the tactics that a Batterer uses to control their partners & children. Domestic Violence is not just about physical violence, there are several tactics used for the end goal of power and control. I did not use the tactic of whining in the following list. A whiner will manipulate their partners through the tactic of feel sorry for me. Also, I did not mention that 03 hours of beginning is not a good technique for "foreplay". However, in Duluth Minnesota there was developed a model to understand and work with Batterers which is widely used across the country and recognized as the primary tool for any true Batterers Intervention Program. Please be advised that physical assault is the control method of last resort and these listed techniques work for dominance and control. I have listed examples of these tactics that Batterers use to control/manipulate their partners and family.
