Henry Wadsworth Longfellow "The Lighthouse" Lighthouses have long been a part of our country's history. The locations are usually very picturesque. Many a sailor has looked forward to seeing the welcoming light coming from the lighthouse as he ends his journey across the ocean. There is something comforting and serene about a lighthouse.
