As a follow-up to my Latin for the New Millennium quiz, I decided to do something a little more useful. Since anything said in Latin just sounds smarter, try these out when you are trying to meet someone new. Not only will you sound intelligent, but if you select the right pick-up line for yourself you might just have some success. I'll give you a hint, then you translate the Latin pick-up line into English. I did not do the translating of these myself as my Latin skills are much more limited than that. These were taken from various internet websites already translated. Using the hint below, you should be able to translate some of these, even if you don't know any Latin. Hint: Read the Latin phrases carefully. Many of our words today have etymological roots in Latin and this might help you out.
