These are some of the stories from 2006 that captured my imagination as noteworthy, unique, or peculiar. I find these stories compelling. Two of these stories began in 2006 or earlier and hit the news the first month of 2007. Most of the questions aren't hard, but I threw in one or two obscurities to keep you on your toes. Enjoy!
