Renaissance - Birth and Society

The Renaissance is a period of history which lasted from approximately 1350-1600. This era is normally seen as the beginning of modern history, and is characterized as a rebirth of art and learning. Jakob Burckhardt was a 19th century historian who first used the term “Renaissance” as a method to distinguish this period from the Middle Ages. The questions in the quiz pertain to the politics and society of the Renaissance. Another quiz will relate to the culture of the era. Good luck on the quiz!
