|By righteousness is meant, when applied to God, the perfection or holiness of his nature; exact rectitude; faithfulness. Righteousness, as used in Scripture and theology, in which it is chiefly used, is nearly equivalent to holiness, comprehending holy principles and affections of heart, and conformity of life to the divine law. It includes all we call justice, honesty and virtue, with holy affections.|
Is our God a righteous God? How does God manifest His righteousness? According to God’s word, “There is no one righteous, not even one” (Romans 3:10) and that “all our righteous acts are like filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6), then how and from whom can we obtain our righteousness? How should we to live our lives then? Where should our priorities lie? This quiz will attempt to answer these questions.
New International Version (NIV) of the Bible is used.
There is only one answer even if there are multiple blanks. Just fill in the blanks and let us “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33).
