You probably have seen the bumper sticker, "I Love My Country, But Fear My Government". I also add that I distrust my government. This quiz concerns U.S. government backed interventions into other countries since 1950. If you are prone to a "my country right or wrong" nationalism and will not accept historical facts, please do not take this quiz; it will just make you angry. Principal sources used in the creation of this quiz were William Blum, "Rogue State" (Common Courage Press, 2005) and Joel Krieger, editor, "The Oxford Companion to Politics of the World", 2d ed. (Oxford University Press, 2001). I also consulted several "Wikipedia" articles.
