Roman Emperors - What's in a Name? #1
Philkon on 10/01/2005
|There were about six dozen Roman Emperors. Most of us know them by one or two names. For example, Gaius Julius Caesar was most well known as Julius Caesar.|
For this quiz, I'll give the full Imperial name (and reign) of an Emperor. You give me their common name.
This is not a 'gimme' quiz, but it shouldn't be THAT hard. They are presented in order, too. There is a bit of a debate as to when a few of the Emperors 'officially' took office during times of conflicting claims. There are also a few names which have a few minor variations in spelling. So, your list (if you have one) might be a bit different.
