ARussMeyerRetrospectiveHisFilmsandLife Photo Russ Meyer, pictured in this Introduction, is primarily known for his successful low-budget "sexploitation" films, featuring large-breasted women. His body of work remains controversial. It has been denounced as sexist and degrading while others have argued that his films are actually more empowering than exploitative. His movies are now shown in prestigious film festivals, have been purchased by the New York Museum of Modern Art, are seriously discussed in university film programs and, as this quiz reveals, have influenced modern culture.

This quiz covers Meyer's complete career and some interesting aspects of his life.

I went to so many Russ Meyer films in the late 60's early 70's and never saw one of them. The drive-in was the cheapest place to go to "be alone", lol. I have often thought about revisiting some of the movies to see what I missed. There was more to Meyer than we knew. Thanks.
