A patron Saint is a special intermediary who will protect or guard the members of a certain group. If you've got a condition, situation, affliction, profession, or an ailment, there's a Saint to cover you. Saints are viewed differently in each religion so for the purposes of this quiz, I will use the Roman Catholic concept of Saints. It is a colorful and fascinating version, to say the least. very difficult - obscure saints
St Lawrence should be the patron Saint of Football & the Tailgate party -- since he was roasted alive on a "gridiron!" Good quiz; gotta brush up on my Saints.
