Secrets Of Incompatible Technology

allenaAllena on 02/22/2008

SecretsOfIncompatibleTechnology Photo In the consumer world, we are susceptible to the whims of manufacturers desperately seeking our wallet. In order to advance the electronic impact or other new technologies, companies invent new things that require the obsolescence of the old, such as cars that won't accept leaded gasoline or worse, a media player that won't read your old music.

This quiz asks you to remember the technology that had a particularly deleterious impact on your equipment investment.

Most of the time, advances have helped. Although a blurry X-ray used to be our best diagnostic, we now have CAT-scans and MRI's. Catalytic converters are major in calming pollution.

Remember, the ultimate advice: Caveat emptor! When you rate this quiz, please don't shoot the messenger.
