The Sisterhoof of the Traveling Pants, the first summer, is a book I would recommend for girls. It's about four girls who are best friends: Bridget Vreeland, Lena Kalivaris, Carmen Lowell and Tibby Tomko-Rollins. They call themselves The Septembers. They are going to be separated in the summer for the first time;they all have different shaped bodies...but one pair of pants seems to fit them all, making them feel beautiful and pretty. They use these pants to keep them connected during the summer. But they all experience love, loss and the breaking of hearts.Have fun!
