For my money, the funniest movie ever made was the 1977 classic Slapshot. Starring Paul Newman and Michael Ontkean, Slapshot told the story of the Chiefs, an untalented minor league hockey team that becomes the terrors of the league after they adopt a rough and tumble goon-ism style of hockey.
