Sure, you probably do know all about the film Fast Times at Ridgemont High. After all it was a VERY popular film. But how well do you know the book Fast Times at Ridgemont High? The book is the TRUE STORY of a typical year at Ridgemont High, a California High School, although the actual school that the book was written about bore a different name. The book Fast Times at Ridgemont High was written by a magazine writer who, despite being in his early 20's, looked like he could be in high school. Reseaching an article on what was going on with typical american teenagers, the author enrolled as a transfer student at Clairemont High School in San Diego. The book Fast Times at Ridgemont High is the result of his "undercover" work at Clairemont High. When the book was later made into a movie, several incidents and characters in the book were not included in the movie. Conversely, some indcidents that DID make the transition from the book to the movie were altered for the movie. So, still think that you know all about Fast Times at Ridgemont High?
