The idea for this quiz comes from out of left field. In Queensland, Australia, we are beginning the summer of 2009 and there are fires in many communities. In a radio conversation, the head of the fire fighting units suggested that the radio play rain songs in an effort to bring on a downpour that would extinguish the flames.

This is my effort at fire fighting.

I shall ask a variety of questions about those songs which have rain in the title, or are on the subject of rain, storms, rainbows and the like.
