Obviously there have been dozens of songs that are unique and defined the music of the generations who embraced them. I have chosen ten. All the following songs were very important to the music of the sixties in their own special little ways. Some of these may be argued but I have tried to be as pedantic as possible without going over the top. Just follow the arrows and you may find peace and contentment all over again...
