As in the first quiz, sometimes an individual or team captures “lightning in a bottle”. They defy the odds and emerge from the contest victorious. This quiz is about some of those times. Most of these are well known but a few have faded with time. Enjoy and have fun.

Canada Rocks The Olympics
On question 5's answers, I'd put a "West", or even an "East", in front of "Germany. They hadn't yet reunified.
Speaking of which, two games before playing Russia in 1980, the US hockey team did beat West Germany. However, in the movie "Miracle", the scoreboard is depicted as showing USA vs. DDR. But DDR was the Olympic abbreviation for East, not West Germany!
