After a brief, um, shore leave, the Star Trek episode-by-episode quiz series continues! Next up is the eighth episode to air, "Miri." This episode is classic Star Trek and follows a few patterns familar to all Star Trek fans. The most obvious of these is that the bulk of the show conveniently takes place on a planet which has characteristics which were handy for the special effects and set departments...not to mention the budget department! More seriously, and as with many Star Trek episodes, this one attempts to examine the consequences of human's (or anyone's) attempts to better themselves artificially. This is a recurring theme throughout Trek (just note Kahn Noonian Singh, a famous Trek villain and genetically enhanced human). So what do you remember about "Miri"?
