Stephen Fry is is indeed one of Britain's National Treasures; a great actor and a talented writer, director, raconteur, broadcaster ... with a brilliant mind - and funny to the core. Despite all that, he is nevertheless insecure, a manic depressive and apparently completely incapable of seeing just how gifted he really is! Since I've just realised he turns the big Five-Oh this year, 2008 (he's fifty years old) I thought I'd do a quiz on him - I'm one of his biggest fans!

Questions are definitely not short, and information from anywhere I could find out stuff about him!

Great quiz (my brush with fame is to have LOST a University Challenge eliminator to him); he lost in the finals to as I recall Bradford.1980.
but one answer is surely wrong.
Fry's directing debut was Bright Young things.
He has not directed a Harry Potter movie.
