Stranded On An Island Of Initials

One day, I woke up stranded on a desert island. I had no idea where I was. I started meeting some others there who had also been stranded, and I noticed a strange coincidence about them. First of all, they were all authors. Secondly, they were all only used initials for their first and middle names. I will give you some clues as to the ten people I met, just tell me who they are.
