Tender Mercy of God

|Mercy is the benevolence and tenderness of heart which disposes a person to overlook injuries, or to treat an offender better than he deserves; the disposition that tempers justice, and induces an injured person to forgive trespasses and injuries, and to forbear punishment, or inflict less than law or justice will warrant. |
How is the mercy of God described in the Bible? What tender mercies has God given us through Christ? Having experienced God’s mercy, how should we to treat others?
New International Version (NIV) of the Bible is used.
Just fill in the blacks and let us praise and thank God for “He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities” (Psalm 103:10).
