Welcome to the April Community Quizzes -- a game for quiz takers and makers. Today we explore birthstone colors. Most of us know our birthstone, but do we know what they mean? And do we know the colors of our loved ones'? The list I used is The American National Association of Jewelers of America. It is based on USA data. Sources Used: Gems and Jewelry by Joel E. Arem. Healing Crystals by Cassandra Eason. International Colored Gemstone Association Website Gems in Myth, Legend, and Lore by Bruce G. Knuth. Descriptions of the "powers" of the gems may be excerpts from the above sources, as the associated "power" is fairly word specific. Words may have been omitted or added for clarity and content relevance.
