Let's Talk Turkey in Spanish
![]() |
Thanksgiving, a national holiday in the USA, began with a feast held in the autumn of 1621 by the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Native Americans. Soon we’ll all be gathered around the dinner table with our families to celebrate in the tradition of that first Thanksgiving dinner. For those of you, like myself, who are learning and practicing Spanish, instead of Auntie or some other relative grabbing the attention (let’s hope they don’t get too drunk or happy and want to walk on the table), why not impress the family with some Spanish words about Thanksgiving? The turkey in the picture is making the gobble, gobble sound in Spanish. Muchas gratias for taking my quiz. Don’t forget to rate it.
