The 1980s were a time that saw the gathering of personal wealth take center stage in the U.S. The economic policies created a state where the rich got richer faster than the poor got poorer, creating the illusion of economic boom. By the end, the separation between the wealthy and poor had widened greatly. Let's travel through from the Stagflation at the start of the decade to the Recession at the end.
