This is possibly one of the most interesting historical phenomenons I've ever read about, and I'm thrilled to share it with you. Read carefully; I know it's a lot of text, but you'll appreciate the information. It's hard to believe, but there once was another letter used in the English language. Learn the strange history of a symbol that sparked controversy between two countries, fueled a conspiracy, and changed the life of one humble man (seen in this photograph).
