Many musical groups have become known by a truncated version of their name. Sometimes it's the band members initials. Sometimes it's an an acronym ( Dave Mathews Band = DMB). The reasons vary. An affectionate tag used by fans. A conscious change by the band to create mystery or stop confusion Ironically, my inspiration for this quiz was based on a falsity. I alway heard that KMFDM stood for "Kill MFing Depeche MODE". Not true. It actually stands for "Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid". I have no idea what it means so I hope it's not offensive. Anyway, enjoy the quiz.

KMFDM stands for the german first letters of the phrase "no sympathy for the majority" cant remember what they are tho.....I don't know german but I looked it up once.
